If they are equipped with PTO the PTO are live. You could order one without PTO. Live PTO onthese is a very simple and trouble free unit.
Horsepower 770 gas and diesel are close to 50. You are going to get answers from the Nebraska test data which is great. If you put one on a dynometer since the oldest ones were introduced in 1958 for both engine models of the 770 expect 50 horse power plus or minus a couple. On the 880 expect 12 more in round numbers. Displacement 216 for a 770 265 for an 880 Bore and stroke on a 770 is 3.5 X 3.750 on an 880 it is 3.75 X 4 Questions?

Hope you get it for a good price rebuilding and injection pump can cost a lot. Had one rebuilt on an Allis 190XT and it cost around $750. My list for Neb test says 770 diesel is 48.80HP and the 880 diesel is 59.50HP

If you get it and decide to part it out I would like first chance at perhaps just buying it outright.

I never a big fan of parting one out unless it has something like a cracked block etc. A good running 880 diesel will bring a good $ if fixed up and if it has a wide front even more

I am not a fan of parting them out.
I will try and get this thing running and decide what to do with it later.
I bought it today it is an 880 wide front.
Story goes something like this.
Years ago it was running great working in the field came in for dinner or something went back out and would not start.
they cracked injecter lines and no fuel came out when trying to start.
parked because of expinsive fuel pump and set since.Dont know we shall see cant say I dont own an oliver anymore though.
It is a little on the ruff side but I have bought alot ruffer. Thanks again
