Hello, can anyone tell me how to time the rotor on a mag on a cletrac hg? i took the cap off the mag and took the rotor off, but forgot to note the location of the rotor, now it backfires. Does anyone know the firing order too? It has a hercules IXK engine. I also need a wiring diagram to see how to wire up the generator if anyone has one that would be extremely helpful. Thanks, Ross Boots

I need some help on this as well. Mine is an OC-3, is a Hercules engine and has a Wico mag. I can't see any key way marks or any certain way to reinstall the rotor. this is the first I have seen like this. This must be how to change the timing? So is there any way to reset the rotor without finding TDC and all that jazz?

If the engine is an IXK it's an HG,unless some one switched engines.
