I am having my Super 55 engine rebuilt and was wondering about the difference between the stock pistons and sleeves amd the M&W pistons and sleeves? Do the M&W give more power? Are they higher compression?

Super 55, Don"t forget to consider extra cooling which might, or might not, be needed if power is increased considerably. Also will the bottom end last as long as it did since the last overhaul?
Regards, RAB
PS yeah, I"m waiting patiently....

My grandpa put M&W"s(increased bore and higher compression) in my 1957 Super 55 in about 1960 in order to pull the 3 point tiller and it pulls it no problem. My Dad"s 55 with the stock pistons will pull it, but it sure struggles with it.
