Back in the late 60s/early 70s Oliver used the Chrysler flathead in one of the 500 series combines. Do any of you know the specs on that engine or where I can look for them and ones for simular Chrysler engines?

This is going to throw you a little bit of a curve. All the Oliver combines built in Branfort used a Chrysler gas engine. Now here is the catch on the 6 cylinder engines. Except for the last year of the 535 they use an engine built in Canada which is different than the American built flat head Chrysler engines. What specs are you looking for? The engine in the 525 is smaller in displacement than the 430/431-535/545. I know I needed acouple parts for a 535 one time and we had an old Dodge desoto dealer and the parts I needed fit a 53 Chrysler. Questions?

Schwie,

The questions will come tomorrow. I think I need to ponder on what you just told me over night. Thanks for the response.

Gary
