I need a inner rear axel bearing for my 770. A fellow gave me a part # for the outter but I need the inner bearing.

A word of advice. Change them both while you have the axle off the tractor and check the end play on the other side while you are doing this side. Once you have the axle apart the bearing numbers will be on the bearings. Also more than one brand was used for a time.

Thanks for the info. It did have several different brand names of bearings. The inner is Hatkin and the outer is bower. Sounds like good advice to change them while I have it apart. Also do you know if there was a factory 3pt hitch for the 770 and would it bolt on if I did find one. I'm going to portland In. antique tractor and engine show in may and wanted to try and find one.

Not to bump in, but yes, Oliver made two diffrent 3 point hitches.. One was a 3 point hitch and the other was also a 3 point called the "power traction" hitch. The power traction hitch is a little more "heavy duty" the way it puts the weight of the impliment to the belly of the tractor.I added the power traction hitch to my 770 about 6 years ago and I am actually pleased with the way it works. Look around, you can still find them here and there.
