Oliver 550 positive to negative ground conversion

I am converting my Oliver 550 point ignition to an electronic ignition system from Genesee Products. As a result I need to convert the positive ground to negative ground. THe technician at Genesee was very helpful. I am looking for anyone who hs done this and can give me any tips or advice on how to do this. I also plan to convert to an alternator shortly after this project is complete.
ANy help on this also would be appreciated

WE JUST CHANGED AN OLIVER SUPER 55 TO 12 VOLT AND IT WORKING GREAT.IF YOU WANT TO DO IT IT'S PRETTY SIMPLE.YOU NEED

1)A SINGLE WIRE ALTERNATOR(RELIANCE AUTOMOTIVE) PART# 7127-12
2)12 VOLT COIL
3)12 BATTERY
4)1956 CHEVY "T" RESISTER(SO YOU DON'T BURN UP THE POINTS)
5)ABOUT 6ft OF 10 GAUGE WIRE (IF YOU NEED TO REWIRE. OUR WIRE WAS IN MUCH NEED OF REPLACEMENT)
6)A PIECE OF FUSE LINK ABOUT 6in LONG
AND A FAX # TO SEND YOU THE WIRE DIAGRAM. IF YOU HAVE IN QUESTIONS PHONE 336-940-6091

I would suggest that you not try to switch polarity on your tractor until such time as you are ready to switch to 12 volts as well. It is remarkably easy to convert, and not too costly. Visit the archive section of YT, and you will find
an article on it. Starters are usually wound for direction, so changing polarity shouldn't make it
spin backwards. EE mail me if you wish, and I can walk you thro the rest. I converted my 77 last fall.
