What years were 770 D made and how much HP would one have? This one has a wide front end,13.6-38 tires/wheel weights and is in very good condition. Can someone give me an idea what tractors like this are selling for, or what you figure this one is worth. Thanks Gary

My Oliver books have the 770 made from 1958 to 1967. It says the 770 tested at Nebraska in 1958 as 34.92 drawbar and 48.8 belt horsepower. It used aluminum pistons in the six cylinder engine with a 1,750 max. rpm. Sorry that's all the info I can find.

has been used as a chore tractor. It has a loader on it. Power steering
was available as a factory option. the early versions had the power steering
pump mounted on the back of the generator. Later versions had a seperate

I have just purchased a 77 and my dad had a 77 diesel
when I was a kid. The 77, Super 77 and the 770 are all
very, very similar. They have very smooth running engines
and are durable. I would not hesitate if you can afford
the tractor. At auctions, 770's bring from $1350 to $2000.
At a dealer lot, the asking price can be as high as $2500.
