My axle seals leak, so I thought I would pull the wheels and hubs and replace them. The wheels came off fine, I had to heat the nut that holds the hub on and got it off, but the hub won't budge. I've heat and beat, I've heat and used a three jaw puller, powered by a 30 inch bar to the point that I'm afraid the hub is going to break. Is there something I'm missing? Does it come apart some other way? I have a service manual, but they show nothing about the rear axle? Can I remove the axle housing from the gearcase and pull the axle through, to put new seals in? Any advice/input/help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Kurt
