i ran across a 70 industrial with a hydraulic loader. the plate with the serial number was missing from the engine block. is there away to find the year with the engine casting or serial numbers? the engine is stuck, it rained in the broken exhaust manifold, what is a tractor like this worth in good condition? the loader looks like one that was commonly on older oliver industrials, according to pictures i have seen. by looking at serial numbers, there were only 2229 made,46 the first 6 years. any help is welcomed. thanks

Is it an Oliver or a Hart Parr industrial 70. Hart Parr only made 2, yes 2 Industrial 70's. I know where one is I figure the other is lost.

dw, i saw one advertised on the internet somewhere (no, i don't remember where) for $4300. it was a full restoration from the frame up.

sounds high to me -- i wouldn't pay that. but you move down from there and judge for yourself.

i would think that the industrial models are valued mostly for their collectability, not their usefullness in the field today.
