i Serched my entire tractor and i cannot find the serial number. there is none that match the digit configuration. i dont know if it is a tag, stamped, but i think it was ripped off... witch probibly means ill never know what year it is.. with allowes me to put it in the antique tractor pull ;) since you can only have 1960 and older.. i i think it is a mid 60's tractor do to the pto lever.

I found mine on the vertical boss next to the generator. It is stamped in there, kinda lite stamping but it is there OR at least this is the alternate location I was told to look. Been using it for parts purchases and no SNAFUs yet.

You can not go by the location of the PTO handle!. There was a kit to move the rear handle to the front. How about an engine serial number and some block casting numbers.
