I'd say that's too high. I have one here in Pennsylvania, runs good, looks OK, has both fenders, but would need "some work" too. I'd sell mine for $950.

I'd say you are too low - both in price and practice. There is probally someone out there who has one for less than you but wouldn't stoop so low as to do what you did. UNBELIVEABLE!!!!

Hold on J. Simon, I wasn't trying to sell mine, I was just saying how much I'd probably ask if I were selling it. Around here, and there were several Oliver dealers around in the past, the 60 isn't all that rare. I had no conception a man in California would consider spending $1,000 for my old 60 and then pay $3,000 to have it shipped across the country. That would make no sense. I was just offering an opinion and didn't mean to ruffle your feathers.

Gee, there just happens to be a 60 for sale on the photo ads. It's in California and listed by a J. Simon. Looks to me like the original question on this post was actually an ad....

the price of these tractors vary depending on where you are,and the availabilty in your area. as for your whining about some else posting. this is an info forum, the want ads are in another area.

Not whining - just stating that when someone is offering a item for sale - any item - anywhere - it is not the normal person who would do what happened here.

I think in your area that may be a good, fair price. I live on the west coast of BC and they are almost impossible to find, thus the supply affects the price. Out east they are more plentiful and since there are more there the price goes down. Even if some one bought one in PA for the lower price, shipping to the west coast would make your price a steal. Don't get upset with Rodney, he's just quoting an opinion on a fair price in his region.
