I have repowered my Oliver 1750 gas with a Oliver 1755 Diesel Engine. All is well except one small problem. The gas tank will no fit because the 1755 exhaust manifold is different. Has anyone ever come across this problem before and does anyone have an Idea or solution.

You need a gas tank for a 1750 Diesel. They are a little smaller than the 1750 gas tank. You might want to also check if the 1850 diesel is the same.

The 1755 uses a different tank. The correct tank is square and does not go over the motor. I have a tank out of a 1855 that would work, they are the same tanks. Although I do not know if they would mount the same?? Also, these tanks have mounts on the sides for the side panels and maybe ground off...Marc
