I purchased this plow a while back and i am curious as to when they were made. Mine is a 4 bottom, at one time it could have been bigger as it has the remnents of cut off bolts in the flange on the rear. Also does anyone have any experiance with these plows, problems, likes or dislikes.Thank you

It was also availabe later as a 4441 and was availabe as a 5 or 6 bottom as well. I had a neighbor who looked a long time for an on-land hitch. He pulled it as a 6 bottom behind an A-C crawler. When I worked for the dealer starting in 1960 we had a few behind Super model tractors. One was a 5 bottom behind a Super 99 GAS. So it would have been available in the later to mid 1950's. One of the farm magazines carried a story about this guy that had one and had the on land hitch in the early 60's Draft control and semi mounted plows were part of there dismiss. The 450 plow superceeded it.
