I am looking at a 1755 with 5000 hrs, no rust, paint faded, several leaks, everything works, few dents, runs good, what is the value? It has a detachable loader with worthless bucket. Not an Oliver loader, with a few welds and patches. Tires 50% and block is good. The hydraulic filter has never been changed. Thanks

Last year we paid $5500 for our 1855, 500 hrs on an overhaul, fresh paint, poor rear tires but good fronts, fluid in the rear, no front end weights. We got that for a bargain but a 1755 in a little rougher condition should be in that price range. About 7 years ago we bought a 1755 in similar condition to yours, AC loader w/ really bad bucket for $4500, also included a Gehl 970 18ft. forage box. The 1755 hadn"t been gone through yet and we wish it would have been. It was missing it"s radiator cap and a couple other parts, and in the fall of 03 the engine went out. No hole in the side but we haven"t gotten around to looking at it yet. Donovan from Wisconsin

I paid $2000 for my 1755 diesel, cab w/heat and a/c, decent tires. No real rust, faided paint, 6300 hrs. Engine has been rebuilt atleast once, but everything works. Put probably less than $600 into since. (batteries, alt, fluid changes, filters, etc) A friend of mine's uncle had a 1755 diesel, no cab, put a rod thru the block... Tractor scrapper paid him $1500 for it in pieces.

Hi , I paid $5500 last year for one in about the same condition but no loader , cab or weights . It was supposed to have had a overhaul but I got 4 hours out of it before I lost oil pressure and water started leaking into crankcase . Motors almost back together after close to $2000 more . Be careful and good luck ! ...Randy
