My neighbor owns a Cockshutt Blackhawk 35 that is in working condition. He has used it on his farm for many years & is wanting to sell it. Could anyone give me an idea of it value. He said it is a very rare tractor.

I paid $900 for a good runner, standard wide front, fair tires (weatherchecked), working hydraulics and working 3 point. The catch- NO sheetmetal (well, it had sheetmetal from a model 30 grafted to it- which looked pretty ridiculous, because the 30 is a smaller tractor and the fuel tank lacked about 8 inches of reaching the steering pedestal). I would think a working, fairly complete rig would run about $1,600 to $2,000, to someone who knew what he was getting. At auction, it would be cheaper, unless there were two Cockshutt fanciers present.

gerald,
Yes the 35 is a rare tractor there were only 1,850 of them built. it depends on what the tractor has on it (3pt,front end, ect) Mike

If it is in descent shape it would bring 2-3 grand around here at auction.

It is a tricycle (narrow front), no 3pt.
