The very first 550's had regular red rear rims(non power adjust).I am trying to find out at what serial no. they changed to white rear rims(regular) and if that coincided with the change to the 155 cubes and 43 HP. Mine is 144 cubes and 35 HP. and the serial no. is 64069. These were probably only in early 1958. The serials for these would be 60501 to 72632. The story goes that Oliver used the 144cube and red rear rimmed super 55's and just up graded the sheet metal. These 1958 tractors may be the rarest and most valuable of all the 550's. Please e-mail me with your serials and I will update everyone later with the results.
