I have a Oliver 880 gasser. It has the wide front and the straight 6 engine. It has i think 6 gears forward and 2 reverse. It also has what i think is a high/low shifter. When i pull it back it slows down some. Sometimes when i pull it back, fluid comes out of somewhere. Is this a common problem? I dont know much about these olivers, (im a deere man). Someone said its the mist green color which they said is pretty rare. The only downside is that this machine does not have 3pt. Thanks for your information.

Fluid should not come out of the 2 speed. The only way this can occure is if the housing is a little loose and the strain from running in low forces it apart or the seals have failed. Like the other post stated I would wash it up and find the sorce of the leak. The power buster is fed oil either by splash action of the transmission or in a few rare cases a factory add on pressure lube which generaly has a spin on filter on the right side of the tractor. These units are not cheap to service if run dry. The top counter shaft in the power buster is not paticularly lubed the best the way it is. Its not a bad job to take them apart Oliver had a line up tool to help center the unit which is a must if it came loose. A mist green unit would be rare as previously stated. Good luck.

I bought my 770 without 3 point....I bought a power traction hitch and put it on. The 3 factory 3 points are still out there, just watch the ads.

If you post the serial # someone could tell you IF it's a mist green one. They are RARE! The power booster should not leak oil. Clean it good to find out where it is coming from, as you don't want to run it low on oil. That could lead to a MAJOR repair.
