We"re trying to find out what year my dad"s tractor is. Not sure if it is a Super 77 or straight 77. We think it is a 1956 Super 77 from what we can find on this site. Needed some help from someone who knew to help confirm it. The numbers we have are: 42691-702 and 170030. If anyone can tell more about the tractor by these numbers it would be helpful. Thanks.

The serial number 42 691 makes it a very late 1956 Super 77 It has the regular ring & pinon set up as indicated by the numbers 702. There should be a dash between the 17 and0030 which again indicates a super 77. 0030 Is the code for front end wheels etc. I do not have that break down avail right here.
