Over on the stuck and troubled, where the car hit a 2-135 White and broke her in half. I imagine that takes some force to bust the tub frame on a White from a side impact like that. Wonder how fast that car was going when it tried to pass. I wish cars would give tractors and farm equipment just a little more room on the highways....

Be safe out there everyone.

About 4 years ago a drunk driver hit a open station Massey 1135 in the rear tire. The car pretty much just drove right in and then underneath the tire, flattened the tire and rim both. The tractor driver was driving home after a tractor pull at night. The tractor was broke in half. The engine kept on running until it ran out of fuel. Fuel, oil, and weights were scattered everywhere. The tractor driver was just extremely sore for the next few weeks, after flying off the tractor and landing in a ditch. God was sure with him!

That's scary!!! We have to time our travels on the road with the local factory, otherwise it's taking your life in your own hands! What a reminder! Thanks and I hope everyone's o.k.!

I've had a few close calls myself, living on a major highway just outside of an ever-expanding city. One time I was pulling a green feed wagon, slowly turning into the feild drive. Car went under the wagon a little ways and hit the stringer. More damage to the car than the wagon. Othertimes I was pulling into the farm drive when I hear SCREAMING tires, only to look and see a Mini-van with a woman screaming and flipping me off! It was still a ways down the road when I started to turn. Several other times my Dad would follow me with the truck, USING BLINKERS, and I still hear screaming tires because my dad cut them off just so I wouldn't get hit myself. I prefer driving at night just so I can see lights under and around the wagon.

I have signaled, waved my hat, flashed my lights, still the silly yahoos will pass at all costs. Two vehicles have tried moving culverts, The culvert stopping another, two have sideswiped the tractor. One stopped the other hit and run, turning self in later.

All most all of them were in a hurry to get someplace to sit down. Werent they already?

Don't you just hate impatient drivers. Guess they were in a big hurry to get nowhere fast???

It looks much worse than what i did this week.Dropped a tree on my 1850.I am still working on tree damage from the huricane. There were several trees tied up togather that needed cutting and as i cut one it started a chain reaction that went way farther then i figured. That oliver roll bar does a good job of holding a tree.
