I may have messed up. I bought a 1800B the other day and we had to pull it ot start it. All the gears worked good the day before as I drove it and rode the brakes and such in all of them to make sure they pulled, they did. Problem is while pulling it after buying it I think I bent a shift fork or something as it will go in 1,2,4,and R1 but it will jump out sometimes. It does find in 3,5,6, and R2 though.

Have I messed up something really bad ? Is there and adjustment somewhere I can use or so I have to pull everything off of the top and fix something? Other than that the tractor is in really good shape. I have the I&T manual on i and am looking for an owners manula for the B series now.

Check that first(shift rails). Does the unit have an oil pump added ? If not How much play is in the low range imput gear and how much end play in the imput shaft. The front cover will need to come off to check the bushing.
