I have my eye on a 1950-T which the current owner bought to fix up himself, but its been sitting around for a couple years. Its a two wheel drive model with a cab. He says the engine has a knock in it, I haven"t had a chance to check it out any further. The cab has windows missing, birds have moved in, etc., but the rubber is good and otherwise appears to be fixable. It has the Over/Under. Assuming it needs an overhaul, I have two questions:

1. What would this tractor be worth in its present condition (i.e. not overhauled)?

2. If I am able to purchase it, how can I find a good place to overhaul it? Who knows how to overhaul the Wacashau 310 correctly, assuming I"m willing to ship it cross country?

Hi RG, I'm in WI, just across the river. If you need parts, advice, or work done on it, feel free to drop me a line, I've done plenty of 310's, got 3 on the stands right now, two diesels, and one puller 310 for an 88! 715-472-2999 shop number. Larry "Wrights Tractor Service"

I bought one quite a few years ago now for $1700 in the exact condition you are describing. If the block is good and the crank can be salvaged, you're probably fine in that range. Research the archives of this site and you can probably glean nearly all the information needed to properly rebuild a 310. I would recommend as Paul did that you can do the work yourself, as long as a good machine shop can do the machining for you. If you're in MN, as I am, there should be plenty of good places to do the motor for you if you like; otherwise, I'm always happy to save another 310. Always happy to help.

Call Eau Clair Diesel and ask for Mr Hoffman. He knows Olivers inside and out. He and his family farm and pull Olivers

Send me a email and I will be able to did up a phone number for you in a day or two. BTW You can do a lot of the work your self. Just get the machine work done by a good shop.

I worked on a couple of T"s with "slight knocks" back in the early 70s. As I recall they both also had "slightly broken" cranks.
