I've noticed that there are lots of posts on oliver equipment but answers seem to be few. I myself find the equipment to be just as interesting if not more interesting than the tractors. I was wondering if there is anyone that has worked on compiling oliver equipment info. I probably am not alone but after you get a few tractors then you really want some matching equipment to use with them. I've been focusing my search more on late 50s or 60s oliver equipment since some of these items seem to have more usefullness today and that is half of the fun. I'm slowly aquiring a few things but have a long way to go. If anyone out there shares these interests let me know. To have oliver is great but to still use it is the best. I'm just hoping we as a group can save some of these items of equipment that are going fast as scrap from the torch. Once these things are gone then it will be too late. Also, if there are shows out there this year with oliver that use these things let me know. I would love to watch old oliver equipment in any stages of being used and demonstrated. Mowing, baling, raking, comes to mind. If there is someone that would be a great souce on equipment let me know also.

I use all my Olivers. Other than plows, I don't have any usable Oliver equipment. Just found a No. 6 semi-mount corn picker that I hope to mount on a Super 55 a use a little by this fall. Where are you? I'm in Western NY.

I'm in eastern Iowa. You'd think that being close to Charles City, IA that you would see more Oliver equipment but you just don't. I know the equipment was produced at different plants but most farmers kept a line of equipment the same color for the most part.

We're also in eastern Iowa and have found a fair share of equipment around, but it's starting to get less and less. We like to collect the equipment as much as the tractors. I've got most of what we have posted on our website. Talking to my dad I wish he would have kept a few things he did have through the years, especially the oliver batch corn dryer. It was sold and probably met the torch a long time ago.

Hi Mark , I live about 18 miles south of Chuck town just outside of Clarksville . I had to go to Joice for my 207 rake but I got my 415 pull type sickle from Greene . This summer I'll be using them and my 1755D to make hay , but for now I have a couple 14t JD's to bale it . If I find a very good Oliver baler I would probably consider buying it but that wouldn't be till next fall at the earliest . Were do you live ? Randy

I'm 15 miles NE of Cedar Rapids by Central City. I was just at an auction by Plainfield where there was Oliver equipment. Their was a 207 rake that sold their for about $450. I noticed there are a whole lot of driveshafts on that rake. It would be fun to gather up oliver equipment for a day or weekend to use on some ground like the old threshers do. It would be more modern but it would be nice to see olivers doing their thing.

Nealis,

Is you friend in GA? I live in Covington, GA. I have some Oliver equipment like a 565 plow, 107 rake, two hay wagons, 520 and 620 balers, and 5 1800's. Maybe something else I missed. We use our equipment. Not a show person.

Yes, he lives in McDonough, GA. Give me a call and I will give you his name and phone number. I have a 59 550 Oliver diesel, but all my equipment is other than oliver.

Mark,My dad and I also like to collect Oliver equipment(running joke is we need to get a supply in before the horders get everything). We dont show anything(I know bad members)but we do play with The equipment. We own a couple of working model 18 combines, and as far as hay equipment goes we have a 50,60,62T,720 balers(have a rough number 8 also).Im not sure on all the early numbers but I know we are missing a #100,520,620,and a 710.Spose you could include missing the 62w which is the wire tie.
