What is the going price for a flat top fendered, gas, narrow front,770. Does not have a 3-point, decent rubber, good to very good sheet metal, no smoke, guages and lights work. Drives nice, noisey rearend(normal)(?) brakes and clutch feel good. Approx. 5000 hrs. was "rebuit" once. Has power steering.

There was a very nice one in the photo section from Goose Lake, Iowa. I've met that guy and his tractors are as nice as any you will find. Though it's normal for the noisy rear-ends, there are some out there that are not as worn and noisy.

The noisey rear end is normal for older Olivers. A fair price would be $2,000- 2,500. Most people want more, but I guess I would not pay more then that. Hope that helps

Yes, it does help thank you, I'm getting the same response from my Oliver buddies. The problem is,I don't see any 2500.00 Olivers that are nice enough to leave alone once you buy it. I'm looking to leave it original.

I know where your coming from, they are very hard to find. Everyone is pretty much inflating their pricing, so now we all, must pay. I went to an auction in 2001 and there was an all original 880 Oliver there. It only had 1300 hours total, and it brought $3,000. Deal of the day, wish I could have bought her.

I bought mine in the East...Western NY 11 years ago with 2000 hrs and paid 3000. I thought that was too much at the time, but she never let me down once. I think where you live depends on the price quite a bit....Whats funnier...look at the price of a new lawnmower!!!
