I just bought me Oliver 880 with power booster. Everthing is working order. I was looking around and it's all good.
I was wondering how the power booster operates. Does it run by hyd. or clutch? I am new to this 880. I just wondering how the power booster works. I know what the power booster is.
My dad said it might be runs by hyd. He not sure about that.
Thanks
Tracy

it is run by an over running clucth that shifts between high and low range it has clucth pads that you gotta watch to keep it adjusted right. towards the seat is low rang and towards the engine should be high or direct drive make sure if parking on hill to put lever forward it will roll on you if you dont. hope this helps a litttle you can get a service manuaul that explains it more and it will have pictures LOL
