Hey
allright guys I'm gonna need all your help out there, I am looking at a Cockshutt Super 570 and the asking price is $1000(firm). I know for a fact that all the rubber tires are shot, the hydraulic pump located under the seat is missing, and there is a concentrated amount of diesel fuel in this tractors crankcase. This tractor also has a makeshift cab and when removed will have no fenders. Anyone know if this is a good deal or if this is just trouble waiting to be had? Is it worth buying knowing about the diesel in the crankcase.Does anyone have an explanation for the cause of this?
Does anyone have a price on a hydraulic pump for this tractor?
Thanks to all of you in advance and i look forward to hearing from your input
Allan

The fuel in the crankcase would be the least of my problems. Does it run? I guess what I am really askings is will it turn over with the starter and then will smoke of some color come out of the exhaust pipe?

Hey
I have personally never heard the tractor run. I'm told that when it was parked 4 years ago that it ran but over that time out in the elements who knows what kind of problems could have developed?
In non runing condition is it worth this much.
Thanks

That appears to be a fair price. If you don't buy it let me know. Good Luck,
