My JD MC and JD 70 have a water line heater that plugs in. I would like to do something nice for my Super 55 gas, which is what I use in the winter to plow snow with an 8' rear 3ph blade. Works really well but blade is a bit big.

How do you guys have your Super 55s hooked up to be pre heated and plugged in? What is a frost plug heater, and do I have a frost plug on this?

If any one would post a picture that wouldbe nice.

If you want to keep it orginal put in a lower rad. elbow with a heater in it. I have used elbows for $30.00 and new heaters with cord will cost $50.00. If interested call 712-324-2760.

Stu,
I bet it's a bit chilly up north there. I don't really need to head up my Super 55 like you do, but I have a heater that fits into the lower rad hose. You can get them at any parts store I would imagine, you have NAPA and Lordco I bet. Anyhow, you have to cut the hose and insert the heater and clamp both ends. I would show you a photo, but the engine is in Washington getting rebuilt.
