Let's be practical in the internet sites.

I've come to search my projects during the semester.And I was so shocked to see those trashes in the internet. I mean those useless and meaningless sites that all come up into my screen when we type some words to find the history of a famous scientist or event.I want to ask them this: "Do you guys know how it wastes some student's time who really want to see and find some good and useful information when there's no other way to find that person in the library?" I swear I spent more time trying to get out of those useless sites than found good informations. So please.. let us use the internet correctly. I mean at least we shouldn't block high school students from getting informations for their project. It could be your child, cousin,or friend. That's all I want to say
P.S. I like using the internet inspite of the consequences that I have to go through. So let's use in properly.

Well, I am a student also. And, yes i have done some research on the internet. If your going to use the internet to search for information, you are going to need to spend some time with it. If you don't have the time, may I suggest that you go to your library or your college campus library where they will have all the information that you need. Somehow I think that you will have the same time invested either way. Oh, BTW, you sound like me. Wait till the last possible minute to do your homework or papers and then try to find information as quickly as possible. ;-)

Clare, why are you posting your opinions about internet usage and trash on an old tractor site anyways? I don't think you have mastered the use of computer at all, I mean, you couldn't even get your statement to the right address. And thus adding to the problem.

Clare, what is "proper"? Do you define that or do I?
I am a development engineer and spend many hours doing research in the internet. I would suggest to you that you need to develop your search skills. I many cases you can tell from the site name if it is relevant or not.
Limit you search to .edu or .org sites for a start.
