Just set my engine back in the frame. Now I have to get a dial indicator and get a copy of the service bulletin.

I have never seen the procedure published in a service manual.WHITE released a bulletin to address the addition of a trunion mount support to the early 2255's. The procedure was listed in that bulletin. From memory, but have performed it numerous times it stated to install a dial indicator above over drive housing of the hydraul-shift (rear of the over/under) Turn square headed jack bolts on the adjuster blocks till .002-.003" of upward travel of hydraul-shift occur tighten down the two engine flywheel housing stud nuts and recheck dial indicator to ensure there was still .002-.003" movement. This will take load off the over/under and center the shafts. If this does not make any sense.I can try to explain further.
