I'm getting a "This site is defaced" displayed when I go to the HPOCA site. Some kind of web worm.

Anybody else getting this or is it just me?

Thanks,
Myron KY

I have not been able to get on the site at all since September. My Internet provider said the problem was with HPOCA's internet provider not being able to hook up with mine. I guess this is their way of keeping what is going on TOP SECRET.

We got hit by some kind of worm. I'm working on getting the site restored, but I'm not sure how long it will take at this point in the game.

Merry Christmas!!

I'm getting the same as you. Hope Chris can get it going again. I can't figure what perverse pleasure some people get from that kind of $%#&

Checked at 11:15 pm CST, still off.

I barely know how to e-mail. Do these "worms" get to a site by the intent of a hacker or on the "coattails" of someone that is infected?

Probably both Larry. Hackers like to launch their worms from someone else's system to try and cover their tracks.

It's too bad to. I just got some great (in my opinion) HPOCA news and am anxious to hear everyone's take on it.

NEW HPOCA PRESIDENT in reply to Myron KY, 12-21-2004 05:33:53
Myron,
If your news is the same as mine, the HPOCA has a new president....congratulations to John Hume, (AKA Wrenchbender) a fine honest human being that I believe is very capable of leading the HPOCA back to a singular goal through open and honest leadership.
I welcome the change and sincerly hope the current officers and board members can and will work with Him as He implements His own agenda. Larry Coltrin

I'm looking for confirmation--not that I don't trust you fellows. Just too much (hummm)misinformation and secrecy from the management over there.
