hey
I'm wondering if anyone has information on how to convert a Cockshutt 570 Super to three point hitch. I've heard that this was an option on these tractors but for some reason mine never received it. I would like to use this tractor around the farm with a bushog and such, but until I get a three point hitch rigged up it's quite impossible. If anyone has diagrams or parts suppliers information to accomplish this project I would be very grateful. Also I require a set of either clam shell or wheat land style fenders for the rear of this tractor. Thanks to all in advance.

Allen,

Neil Grant at CFE Parts in Crysler, Ontario, Canada is underway with new reproduction three point hitch parts for Cockshutt 35 thru 570 Super tractors. Check out his website that is listed on links page of THE COCKSHUTT SHED or email him at: bngrant@sympatico.ca I can sell and supply his parts to you if my location is more convenient to you.

Allan, as Phil mentioned, I have parts or can lead you to parts which will fit your 570 Super to give you Three point hitch. Please give me a call. Neil Grant 1-613-987-9967. These are available through Phil in the US, which is simpler for you to purchase I would guess.
Enjoy the 570 Super. It is one of the best tractors ever made, with the even stronger transmission/rear end of the 35-50 and the H series hercules 339 cubic inch engine with direct injection and a much heavier crankshaft than any other Cockshutt. I have had one for 26 years. It has around 10000 hrs on it and I will never sell it.
It will take a couple of minutes for the website to load.

I bought a rockshaft from Neil, and can vouch for the excellent quality. Just be aware of shipping costs, and the little "border surprise"- farm parts are exempt from duty, and are subject to a $2.00 processing fee. But by the time the customs house broker gets done with you, its about 55 bucks. This includes $18 for their services in handling the (non)-transaction, $30 for a bond (to pay the duty in case the goods turn out not to have been exempt, but of course everybody knew all along that they were exempt), and 5 bucks in consideration of them advancing the money for the bond, which wasn't really needed in the first place. I would have rather they had robbed me with a gun- much more straightforward.
