Oliver 77 Side Panels

I have a 1950 Oliver 77 with original side panels. The rear panels have 2 holes for bolts at the bottom that fasten the panel to the frame. There are 2 diamond shaped holes along the rear of the panels that match holes in the frame that supports the dash and steering column. The holes in the frame are diamond shaped as well, they are not tapped and threaded.

What type of fastener was used to secure these panels and are they available? Most Olivers I've seen have regular cap screws, but my frame has the diamond holes instead.

I would appreciate any help. Thanks.

Someone has been kind enough to alter your rear side panels and dash frame. Oliver used 5/16 oversized pan head screws on side panels and hood.
You can get these from some parts dealers at tractor shows. I bought a bag of them at Midland MI last fall. I don't rember the name of the dealer. The dash panel can be repaired welding a 5/16 nut to strap of steel and welding that to the inside of your dash frame.
