I have 6 oliver 80's and i just recently bought a complete spare engine for parts, i might have a few spare parts left over when i am done fixing. I have a 38 r.c. 7th built with the tall radiator, a 39 r.c ( in need of serious restoration on steel) and a 47 r.c. on steel. The others are standards.

Paul,
I have four 80s.
No help on parts from here, as we need all the spares we can lay our hands on to keep/get them running.
Although they are a tough old tractor, they do have their soft points - manifolds (and governors, maybe).
Regards, RAB

I posted for a head gasket on here a month ago and a couple guys answered. I would try that if I were you. My shop guy bored out the old guides and put new slip-in insterts on. We were able to reuse most of the valves, but he was able to find a cummins valve outta something that worked. I have heard suggestions about using JD valves and turning them to fit. However, I have yet to hear how much that costs.
I dont have any pictures now, but hopefully after x-mas I will get it done and take some then.
