Hello, hoping for some help on finding the spin on oil filter adaptors made for the engine cannister oil filters. There was a kit made by or for Hercules to do this. I would be happy with new or used parts, or even a manual or installation sheet. Thank you all in advance, John T

I am also assuming you mean a 2150 with the 478ci Hercules engine. First, yes Oliver had a kit that would convert the canisters to spin on, but it is not the best and it still liked to leak.

What I did when I still had the 478 Hurk in my 2150 was, I got a spin on system off of a later model 478 engine out of a white tractor. It was a blown up engine that a tractor mechanic had. The later model spin on filter bases are a lot better and there is no way they can leak. I also took the Standadyne (sp) fuel filter system off that engine too and it worked reall nice.

Call a place like Worthington Ag Parts or a salvage yard and see if you can find the filter bases off or a 2-135 White, they will bolt right up and work nice. I sold my 478 when I put the Cummins in, but I may know where there is another one with the right parts if you dont find any. Shoot me an email if you need more help.

Good luck

I hope you mean 2150 as 55 series would be a Moline. Have you checked with Jerry Biro? Have you check any Agco dealers who have a White contract?
