I have grinned about this twice already today. About 25 years ago when I taught Ag I had a boy in the program and they had one at home. Well the boys uncle worked for the local Detroit dealer and they converted it to a N series engine with larger injectors. They could not keep a clutch in it (it was the 5 speed) so you need to crank up the RPM to keep the torque load on the drivetrain down. What have you done to it so far?

We have not done any thing to it yet, but I have bought another motor that is a lot newer, and has new type injectors in it and internal governor. We can"t rev it up but 20% above stock.USAP rules. We have an WC Allis with big cubic inches so we know about the clutch. Thanks Vic.
