I was talking with my wife"s cousin last night and he has a 35 Cockshutt with a Cockshutt mounted 2 row picker he is thinking about selling. My question is how rare and what is this combination worth? Thanks

Oliver's Battle Creek Plant built a model 421 picker for Cockshutt in 1958, 1959 & 1961. I believe this it the same picker as the Oliver Model no.4, however painted red with Cockshutt decals.

Lurker,
There were only 1,850 of the model 35s built from
1956 to 1958, and they are quite desirable to the cockshutt collector. The picker would be neat to have but is probably not worth alot. Mike

Wouldn't it be Cockshutt's own if it was purchased at the same time the tractor was?

I am sure it is labeled Cockshutt but it was built by Oliver for Cockshutt same as some Cockshutt pull type pickers are Moline Pickers. We had a customer who had a 550 Cockshutt and wanted a mounted picker same as above but he purchased the green one because it was we sold more of them stocked parts. The Local Cockshutt dealer never sold any.
