Anyone know what it costs to get a tractor painted? Assume I do the prep work and get the Meadow Green and Clover White. What would it cost to apply primer, paint and hardner in the topcoat?

Just had a 1950T with cab and duals painted and new cab liner. Using automotive paint $2400. It looks great. Almost don't want use it cuz it will get dusty. I drove it in and out. So what ever you do to help painter can save $

If you are going to do all of the dismanltling and the the re-assembly and all of the bodywork the actual spraying takes very little time. I am guessing you can get it done for $250-500.00 but that is a WAG. If you let someone else do all of the work you are looking at anywhere from $800.00 on up. A tractor is ten times harder to paint than a car.

neighbor spent $1000 a few years ago to get his 1855 painted. It's not perfect, but it looks good. I don't think he supplied anything but cash... I don't think it should be near that just to shoot it, since your going to do all the hard work.

You also did not say if you have a cab, dual wheels to paint or other options. My son and his farming pardner have had two Deeres painted the last 2 years and the price was between 900 and 1000 for both of them. However the other guy (the painter does not want you to prep it. He wants it done to his standards. They are both excellant paint jobs.
