I got my tractor magazine today in the mail and it had a guy from ontario in it with his cockshutt collection. There was a picture of him and his 570 Super on the page it said, he has a origenal 1958 prototype 570 Super with Four Wheel Drive. at first i didnt belive it but when i looked at the front tires on the tractor they were gips with a drive shaft leading to the front end. then it said that it was tested in Saskatoon Saskatchewan but didnt pass the test. just thought this was neat, you learn more about these things everyday!!!!!

The guys name is John D Hoover from Mount Elgin ontario.. And the year in the caption says The "ReaL" 570 super (1961) then on the other page it says The Real 570 with F.W.D was tested in Saskatoon but it didnt work very well and then it was not used anymore. The year was around late 1958 or early 1959.. oops my bad my dad also told me when he was a kid he woudl go to cockshutt and take home booklets and the dealer Mr. HeckBoie i think is how you spell it told my grand father about the 580 Super and abotu the 570 4fwd it had a belt from the belt pully down to the front diff thats why it was turns down... my dad said his bed room had a walk in closet FULL of cockshutt toys and books.... when my grandfather died my grand mother burnt all family photos and farm photos along with thsi cockshutt stuff :( sad.....
