I'm kicking around the thought of fuel tank fenders on my 1755. What would a decent set be worth? Will they fit on the tractor with a Hinson Cab?? Currently the Oliver fenders fit with the cab, but haven't done any measuring to see if the fuel tanks will. Thanks!

I have an older set that need paint and lights, I would probably sell them pretty cheap if you want a set. I was going to fix them up and put them on a tractor of mine, but havent gotten there yet.

I would think fender tanks would fit your 1755 and "should" work with the cab, most cabs worked with either tank fenders or regular ones.

am I wrong in thinking? I dont think you can take a tank fender tractor into a tread width of 30" ( for cultivating 30" rows)

No, I dont think you can go that narrow with the fender tanks on. If you were going to run it in 30 inch rows you would have to set it up with 60 inches between the tires and straddle two rows, if that would work with the cultivator. I know that will work with the tractor, our 1850 is set up with 60 inches between the rear tires for running the round baler without running over the windrows.

I really dont think a wide front 1755 can get the front axle closed up to 30 inches either, you would have to have 60 inches between the tires or have a narrow front, right??

That is just my guess, we have not cultivated row crops in 40 + years around here, so I really would not know, and when we did we used an R and a Z moline with mounted cultivators. We let the sprayers handle that now a days.

well you have to have 60in from center to center.

your right the oliver wide front will not do it.

Unless--- we modified ours so it will quite simple really--- you take the tube out of the center tube (easier said than done) then you cut 2in off part that goes inside... walla... you have an axle that will go in to 60in centers.
