New to this. In browsing,I see little or no interest in Oliver 99's. I have an opportunity to to aquire one - 1950 4 cyl. in fair condition but can't get a handle on a "fair" offer. Any comments?

I see prices from $1000 - $3500. There is one on eBay going for $2800 as I type. I've seen it and it needs a lot of restoring.

The tractor on ebay is a 6 cylinder version which tends to bring more. We have 4 4-cylinder 99s and a 90 and have never paid more than $1200 for any of them. The least we paid was about $400, but the two we got for that needed quite a bit of work.

Thanks. I just noted to someone that this is an LP conversion but has the gas tank and carburator with it. Runs pretty good. Needs paint but not any major mechanical or tin work. We seem to be in the 1500-1600 range.
