What's your favorite Oliver tractor book? I just finished one on Minn-Moline tractors that was very informative and would like to read some more on Oliver tractors. What are your recommendations?

If you want the history and the life at the factory, The Tractor Builders, by John D. Culbertson.his email is [email protected]. I met him at the national show in Illinois two years ago. Those books mentioned earlier are very good too. I also like the book by Herb Morrell on Olivers.

My favorite Oliver book is "A Guide To Hart-Parr, Oliver And White Farm Tractors 1901-1996" by Larry Gay. It has 95 pages with good pictures and info. Includes a section on Nebraska Test results and Production Figures. Can usually be found for sale on ebay.

My favorite for sheer amount of good information is the Oliver Tractor data book. Covers everything from the early Hart-Parr tractors thru the thousand series, and crawlers. Has production figures, Nebraska Test Ratings, options for each model, speeds of each gear, engine info, and some other stuff I"ve probably forgotten about.

I suppose "Minnie" could be an alternative name.
