I purchased an Oliver 1650 gas Saturday and got it home yesterday. Everything seems to work as I was told except the three point lift. It is all the way up and does not go down when the lever is in the down position. Is there something wrong with the lift or is there another lever?

First check your external linkage to make sure everything is connected right and working OK. Then if you can't see anything wrong with the linkage-on the right hand side(as you are sitting on the tractor) there is bolt sticking out on towards the bottom of the platform(by your right foot). Try backing this bolt out or screwing it in more (note its original position). This bolt is adjusted when you run a one way remote cylinder to divert oil and may have been tampered with previously. If none of these work, then you could have broken internal linkage. Also there is a big fat valve inside that controls the 3 pt. that could be stuck. Both of these last items require removal of the seat assembly and top cover. Hope this helps. Good luck.
