Well, I got them going. Found a semi-complete 4
row belly culivator set for my 51' Row Crop 66. They
were laying in the weeds on a fellows farm, just
exactly were he had taken them off the tractor 25 years ago. I got them home, and having never even
seen them assembled before, put them on my 66. Took
most of the day Sunday and Monday after work, but by
9:00 last night I had finished culivating 16 rows
of sweetcorn that was up. Oh, these are mechanical lift culivators, not the hydraulic variety...

It has to be some kind of tribute to the folks who
designed and built the equipment that after 25 years
of neglect, they could be put to work again with
a minimum of fuss. The corn is looking good and once I get the rust off and a bit of paint on them
the culivators will be looking good too.
