Ivan past through and left behind a tornadoe, here along the The Blue Ridge Mountains in Md. It tore down one farmers barn and left it for kindling. It took the roofs off of a couple of houses. On another place put a tree through a garage and dropped a tree on his pickup and crushed it. On the farm where my stuff is kept, it took down trees along the mountain and pasture field. All day saturday was cutting trees off of the fence line and repairing fence. The standing corn in the field was flatten, and debris was left in the corn and pasture fields. About a 100' up the mountain in the trees is a piece of tin wrapped around a tree, none of the other trees around this one touched, the barn that was lost was over a mile from here, and that is where we think the tin came from. More damage than this was done on friday evening as it moved through. I watched the it for a short while and could not believe what I was seeing, a tornadoe along the mountains, I watched until I heard that "ROAR" and then went for cover. No one was hurt, but there is alot of damage and cleanup.
