Does anyone know of or have the front bottom from a 565 or similar plow? I want to make ours a 4-bottom, but Wis. tractor parts wants $550 for one off a White 508! I could buy a whole plow for that and have some left over.

Let me know, I'm always looking for options. As I said, the bone yard has one off a newer White 508, so a bottom off any plow newer than ours would probably work. I just can't see paying more for 1 bottom than I would for a whole plow.

I have a #546 4x16 that had a extra bottom put on it. I recently took the 5th bottom back off so the 2-85 could pull it. Problem is I need new plow shares and have had no luck finding any. Any body know where I can get plow parts?

I'd imagine that it has the same shares as our plow, We get them at Fleet Farm, we got the rest of our wear parts from the old Oliver dealer. I beleive that they use the same parts as some DMI plows. Where are you located?

How many bottoms on your 565 now? In other words if you have a 3 bottom was it a true 565 3 bottom which are kind of scare. Around here a complete 4 or 5 bottom 565 goes for less than 200.00 if they have not all been cut up for scrap.

It is a 3-16 now, put all new parts on it last year. I found an ad in the paper for a 565 4 bottom, guy says feild ready. May go check it out sometime this week. He wants $450 for it, could probably talk him down some. That way we would have 2 plows to use in the fall.

Hey Don;
Would like to hear more about the 4 bottom if you decide to pass. I am looking for something to play with behind my 1850. By the way, you have not said much lately about your 1650. How is that going?

I haven't touched my 1600 in a month or so, and before that it was my first time since bfore my brothers wedding in June. This plow is in Manitowoc, guys wants 450. He also has a 3-16 565.
I used our plow this weekend with 3 bottoms on our 1855, worked it fairly hard in 4th under. Need more weight up front. Donovan from Wisconsin
