I was recently given a V style drag snowblower for my tractor but my problem is the 3 pt. hitch won't come up high enough to lift it off the ground. Is there any way to adjust how high the hitch goes.
Any help would be appreciated.

Yes but its inside the unit.Try shifting the lever into draft control. If it lifts high than the internal ajustment is off.

Thanks for your reply Larry. I am not very familiar with this tractor. How do I shift the lever into draft control?

Larry gave you good advice, but later Super 55 tractors have a double feedback system and if I remember correctly that adjustment is external. There should be a serial number down by the clutch petal on a metal plate. How about giving that to us and also if your hydraulic filter is in front of the unit or on the side.

When I switch the draft control lever up the hitch drops all the way down so it must be on when its working. What is the draft control supposed to do?
The hydraulic filter is on the side of the unit. The spec. # is 15-0065 and the the ser. # is 181394518.
Thanks for the help.

Position control is for implements like mower choppers, etc. Draft control is primarily for a plow. Send me a U. S. Mail address and i will send you some information.

If you have the lever it is behind the seat on the right side of the hydrolic unit.
