550 Face lift; You might consider leaving the front wheel arrangement as is. Donate the time and money not spent to the tractor widows fund or other worthwhile cause. The tractor weight change amounts to nothing.

That was fast. Good work! I was looking on the map for Whitesburg where you got your parts because I have a brother in law in Whitley City, Ky and thought it might be close, but it's about 150 miles away. That was Wolfe's garage you got them at right? Do they do a lot of tractor work, or did they just find the parts for you? just curious. Always good to find a good parts dearler.

Yes it was Wolfes Garage, and yes they do alot of tractor work..mainly on Olivers but they do fix other tractors also.

Well done. Glad you got it fixed so quickly. Now may be the time to spend that extra $10 and get that service manual.
Never seen a 550. Lots of your old iron finds it"s way to this side of the pond, but that model seems way too good to let any leave the "States!
