I am looking for a combination intake/exhaust manifold for a 4 clinder Buda engine Model #4B-153 Serial #372083. This is in a 1956 Buda/Allis Chalmers fork lift. Allis and or Cockshutt may have used this same engine in tractors. It was also used in marine applications. Any information will be greatly appreciated

What color is the Buda when used in the forklift?
Mine is blue and was used to replace a 30. Just wondering where it came from.

Brad, All the Co-op E3 / Cockshutt 30 gas manifolds are up draft with the exhaust discharge in the middle. I have these in stock for sale.

All the Buda 4B153 engines in forklifts that I have seen, have the discharge on the upside at the front end.

Hey Brad, I have a Cockshutt 30 and all of my engine parts are Buda. In fact the origional block was cracked so I went to an old forklift place and found a Buda engine block that fits Cockshutt and Co-Op. I would say the manifold would be the same. I hope this helps.

Does your fork lift have an up draft or down draft carburetor? Where are you located?

This model has an updraft carburetor, Zenith, just rebuilt. My manifold appears as though it could have been applied as downdraft also. AT least the firing order is cast twice, once to be read with updraft mode and vice-a-versa.

Does your exhaust discharge in the middle or out one end? All of the tractor recasts discharge in the middle. I know of a guy who deals in forklift salvage. Drop me a line and I"ll find his number.
