I don't have all the answers but I will answer what I can. The lack of communication and information is why I decided run for president. WB.

WB, Please post your plan for restoring confidence in HPOCA. What specific actions do you propose? I would like to hear what you know about the principal questions being asked of the pres and board. If you are in the dark as much as the general membership, then tell us if you will release the facts if you are elected. I am a former member looking for some good reasons to rejoin, but I won't put any more money in the hands of those who refuse to respond to legitimate and politely asked questions. Amen on the name calling

Okay, that is quite enough. The name calling, innuendo and just plain terrible things that everyone is saying has no place in this arena.

John, Good luck on your run for president. No matter what the cause of the current mess, we desperately need a change of leadership to restore confidence in the HPOCA. I will be glad to support you and help in any way possible to rebuild the club back to one we can be proud to be part of. If you want to get ahold of me for any reason, pm me, km, on the HPOCA forum.

Can the committee pull you off like they have others in the past?

Why? Most people joined HPOCA just to get the magazine. Sherry made the magazine great. After she got fired the magazine isn't worth its weight in toilet paper. So about 1/2 of all the members have not renewed... no doubt more will fail to renew in the future.

Do I have to draw a picture? HPOCA is dead.

I don't really know what all this fuss is about. I joined hpoc mostly for the magizene. For a while I did not renew not because of politics but because I forgot. I now have rejoined, the magizene being the main reason. In my opinion It was very good under sherry and still is under Chris. I also suscribed to Oliver Heritage which is in my opinion a great magizene. I'm pleased that there is now two great oliver magizenes. Twice the fun no mader who edits them. Theres difinatly room for both. I like olivers I like reading about olivers and I enjoy looking at olivers. I will in no way base my geting the magizenes or not on who edits them and I think the vast majority of us probably think the same. Adam Suess [email protected]

Certainly Sherry's magazine has to be better she now has to EARN her wages not just have a check handed to her and go produce a rag for the mass's!

Sherry has always earned her wages and then some. Only jealous people who refuse to respond to the membership in writing on the HPOCA board or mag. have a problem with her. When the current board gets thru stealing or the politcal correct saying "redirecting" the members money. Then they will they move on and leave a wreck of a what once was a growing organiztion.
Ron
and for once I agree with the "real ron" you are a coward and low life for saying what you said without signing your name or handle

Despite what a lot of people think, time on the
internet is traceable. Go to google dot com and
enter his posting tracking number. In his case
it was 216.183.132.166 (This is shown on his post
after the time and the "from" on his post)
Everybody who posts here has a different number.

With a little digging you can see what name the
person goes by and see that he has posted to
tractor discussion groups before.
I'm not sure why this person has a beef with Sherry, but after you see who the person is, perhaps you could tell us.

Of course he could now post from a different computer, but I think he has shown his hand.....

Anyone care to comment on why he has a beef
against Sherry or is this just a little juvenile-brained adolescent trying to get 15
minutes of attention?

No wonder you didn't use your name.

Sherry has authored, co-authored, or edited most of the highly regarded Oliver books. She knows more about Oliver the company and Oliver the tractor than any ten HPOCA members.

She also went to D.C. and fought (and won!) JD when they claimed that only JD could use green paint on tractors. Like anybody would actually confuse a POS JD with a real tractor like an Oliver.

The HPOCA membership doubled when Sherry was editor. She took a laughable magazine and in a very short time turned it into one of the best specialty magazines in the country.

Now that she has moved on, the magazine has reverted to its former sorry state. And most former HPOCA members are now subscribing to Oliver Heritage.

Sherry did a great job before and is still doing that same great job with Oliver Heritage. She does not try and hide behind the graphics fluff. I want more than look pretty and that is what she delivers.

It was great to see what one man tractor and its red and his gang have put out. Glad to see that a man incharge of a club with over 200,000 of your hard earned dollars in the bank could not tell you how his jealous desicion has affected the club with membership numbers. Just one more reason that the red tractor man should be voted out and will not get my vote, that is if I am still allowed to vote before the clique has all the renegades thrown out.

All this mess over one sarcastic, hateful blonde that couldn't cooperate with the board of directors enough to hold on to her $45,000/yr. job.

This is probally meeker or allen as they monitor this site and are cowards enough not to use there names. Since meeker has to push people in the closet and to get his point across. It would be sure nice if the one tractor man and it is red clique member would show his name.

SarcastIc & hateful? Please explain. Did you not get your tractor on the cover? Get over it. FYI - I never made $45,000 a year working for the HPOCA. I'll show my contact to any HPOCA member that wishes to see it.

In addition, I'm not on here calling you or anyone else names so I'd appreciate it if you'd show the same grown up behavior.

hey I am glad to see that finally someone knows the whole story behind why she got fired(Obviously you do or you wouldn't know if she was cooperating or not) Now since you are so informed could you please tell all the masses here who DON"T have a clue about the details? What aspects of the club or job was she not cooperating on? Did it involve the spending of club money or was it other issues??

Please enlighten us..... ..

I think someone needs a doctor apointment to clean that mouth out.. and if I found out Boo Hoo's name I think I would PUBLISH IT and not in here!

and I dont find the new magazine OBJECTIONABLE! Its not Oliver Heratige ok but its a lot better than Wild Harvest, Cockshutt quaterly, Old Allis news,, and the Case mag.

Lets not throw out the baby with the bath water.
