550 For Farm Progress Show

I am working on getting the tractors lined up for the HPOCA - Oliver display at the Farm Progress Show at Alleman Iowa, August 31- Sept. 2, 2004.

We are attempting to duplicate the Oliver display at the first Farm Progress Show held in Iowa in 1959 for the 45th anniversary. As of last night I had one of each of the 3 digit tractors coming. This morning my 550 owner had to drop out for health reasons.

If you have a nice 550 that you would like put in our display and you live in Iowa or close by please email me at:

If you can send digital pictures as an attachment that would help. We have room for an early one with the straight bar grill and a later one with the checkerboard or egg-crate grill. We will consider Oliver or Cockshutt 550"s.

Mine is no way show quality plus I live in FL. Would like a copy of that pic to use as wallpaper for my PC.
