Hey, this Cockshutt 570 Super I'm looking at has a "Carter" cab installed on it. I was wondering if these tractors could be bought with this option or if this was added on at a later date? I thought at first that it might have been added later on but it looks pretty professional looking and it's the same Vermillion red as the rest of the tractor. The interior of the cab consiste of a heater and it also features a windshield wiper as well. The tractor needs all new rubber, it only has power take off and a draw bar too. It's diesel and because of this the owner wants a higher price, can anyone give me a rough estimate of what it's worth? thanks, Allan

Yo Lucky,
I bought a 570 Super that had a cab, but the whippersnaps had torched it off and converted the tractor to a puller in the 5000# class. Stripped.
We pieced it back together with some 560 boner parts and got one year out of it before the 339 began to cough up some black stuff out the exhaust. No knocking or banging, just began to lose power before I shut her down. If you can get it for under 3000 georges, go for it. There are so few left and they are exceptional tractors. Go for the gusto.
PS- I'm putting a new 298 right out of the crate in mine. Then some new paint, I hope.
Good luck,

All I can say is you lucky dog!!!One of these days, I am going to get a 570 Super. All the 570 supers were diesels. Never saw a Carter cab though. Maybe Phil has.

Keith, you didn't leave your email open! I am not in the market to get one right now. Probably next year. I appreciate the heads up. Btw, that is exactly what I would want. The ones out west never seem to have a 3 pt. Are you the Keith that has the Cockshutt parts? Member of the Cockshutt club? Email me if you like.
